About the Ottawa Inline Skating Club

The OISC offers training, fun and social activities to skaters of different levels with its objective being to "... promote fitness, recreation, and competitive abilities through inline skating". For the latest club news see the headlines below or find out more about the club here.

AGM

Please mark your calendars for Friday November 25th. The doors will open at 6pm, the actual AGM meeting will begin at 6:30 followed by a buffet style dinner at 7:45. The dinner should be delicious!! Hope to see you in great numbers.

On another note, if you are not interested in having dinner, please feel free to drop by for 6:30 to vote on the future leadership of our club. There is an adjacent area open to the public where you may have a drink. There will also be a cash bar for those interested in having a drink in our meeting hall.

Indoor Skating

Once again the popular indoor program is returning this fall and winter. Come and join us at the Gatineau Multiplex facility for 1.5 hours on Saturdays where you can perfect your technique, stay fit and prepare yourself for the outdoor season next summer. Ottawa Inline Festival - June 4th and 5th, 2011

The Ottawa Inline Festival was held on the scenic Rockcliffe parkway where runners and inline skaters enjoyed a fabulous weekend of of fun and exercise. You can check out the results of the events here:

2011 Club Membership now on sale

Membership not only enables you to attend indoor inline throughout the winter, but gives you a first class ticket to special events at reduced prices, access to unique training provided only to club members, special club-only pricing on skating equipment as well as discounts at various sports-related stores in town.
