July 2nd - 5:20PM - Sprinkling in center town, and radar shows moderate rain in progress (and continuing for some time) over Orleans. Conditions for skating are not expected to be favorable, so official practice is canceled. Skaters are welcome go to NRC anyways, for informal group jogging etc.
PowerFuel Workshop, Saturday July 11th, 1-4PM. This UPDATED workshop will show you how your diet can help you avoide fatigue from training, and how to make the best food choices for atheletic activities. The workshop will take place in the Foustanellis Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the U of O Heart Institute on 40 Ruskin (map). From the back of the lobby take stairs to second (2) floor; turn right, go through a set of doors and then turn right to the next hallway, the conference room is further down after a left turn. The cost for this event is $10 at the door, the regular price for non club members is $30, take advantage of this great value!

Practice Sessions
The club's regular training nights are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and start at 6:30 sharp. Skaters should aim to arrive at 6:15 and have skates on by 6:30! Practices may be cancelled because of the weather. Cancelation notices are posted at the top of the home page.
- Tuesday sessions take place at the P8 loop in Gatineau Park.
- Thursday sessions are held at the North NRC campus.
