Superb Pavement

We moved the Festival site to Rockcliffe Parkway - one of Ottawa's beautiful Parkways that runs along the Ottawa River in the eastern part of the city. The conditions are absolutely ideal for inline skaters: amazing pavement, and a fast, scenic and safe course.

HEART & STROKE FOUNDATION

As part of our effort to promote healthy living in Ottawa, 2008 Ottawa Inline Skating Festival is a proud supporter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation Fit for Heart program . Fit for Heart events take place throughout the year in a number of communities as an exciting way to raise money for critical life-saving research.

Festival participants have the option to raise money on behalf of the Heart and Stroke Foundation prior to race day. To participate in the fundraising, you may [securely sign up online] or print out a pledge form . The Heart and Stroke Foundation will be collecting pledge forms and donations at their tent on race day.

Local Radio Covers the Festival Live
The Ground Crew from LiVE 88.5 will be hosting the festival, providing commentary, interviews and public service announcements throughout the day. The excitment will build through several events that allow families and racers alike to enjoy this great event on brand new pavement!
