Marathon Madness

At the turn of the mid-season (just after the 24 hrs Inline event), our Marathon Madness program kicks into high gear. For those skaters interested in increasing their performance, training sessions focus heavily on interval-based training. Intervals in this program are designed specifically to prepare skaters for marathon events. Through this training, skaters will increase their ability to attack, deal with surges and sustain a strong finishing sprint.

This program is geared to systematically ramp up skaters and have them peak for the fall season of marathons:

  • Ottawa Inline Festival
  • Northshore Marathon
  • St. Paul Marathon
  • and others...

This program is open to all club member skaters who are interested in improving their skating performance level
