2011 / 2012 Indoor Inline

Fall / Winter Tune Up

The popular indoor inline program is returning again this year! This fall and and winter, come out and join us for indoor inline skating at the Gatineau Multisport facility. With indoor inline skating in the fall and winter you can perfect your technique, stay fit and propel yourself into an excellent skating season next summer! Full details on programming, directions, and registration can found below.

Programming

This year's indoor inline program consists of a 1.5 hour session of inline skating focusing on technique, conditioning and speed. This program assumes all skaters are comfortable skating in groups. For those interested, off-skate exercises may be held as part of each session.

Coach Stephane Tremblay is the lead for this program. We will start with a focus on technique and conditioning and then take a break over Christmas and during January. Starting with our return at the end of January we will focus on a mix of technique, conditioning and some intensity as we gear up for the 2012 outdoor season.

If you have questions about the programming, please e-mail them to club president Peter Wilson at president@inlineottawa.com

Skaters must be full club members before registering for indoor inline.

Facility

The indoor skating is held at the new Centre Multisport at 211 rue Montcalm in the Hull sector of Gatineau (1.2 km from the Chaudiere Bridge). The Centre Multisport used to be the old Hull foundry, which was converted into a bright, spacious indoor sports facility. The inline skating is done on the second floor on the basketball court at the far left of the facility as you get up the stairs.
