The Ottawa Inline Race Team - 2008/2009
In 2008/2009 the club proudly continues its sponsorship of the OISC Race Team. The Race Team not only competes on behalf of the club, but it also provides highly skilled coaches, and Race Team skills clinics throughout the summer.
Participation on the Race Team is open to any club member who wishes to focus on track or marathon oriented competition. Race Team practices are held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, mainly in Ottawa Center (the War Museum), however other venues may be used throughout the year.

Team Members
The Race Team continues to be captained by Stephane Tremblay. Stephane has been with the club since its early history and has long been an active leader of the racing and competitive side of the club. Learn more about Stephane and the other Race Team members here.Training Schedule
The Race Team meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. On regular club training nights the Race Team typically meets at the regular club locations. For safety reasons and because the Race Team follows a special training program, team members do not participate in the regular club training. On Wednesday and Saturday, the Race Team trains at several other locations depending on the time of year, the weather, and training program. See below for a list of possible training venues. The team often meets at different locations so if you are planning on attending a Race Team practice for the first time and you are not a regular participant please check with a team member to determine the training location.
- Tuesday - 6:00pm @ P8 (club training night)
- Wednesday - 6:00am @ Various locations, dryland sessions
- Thursday - 6:00pm @ NRC (club training night)
