This Sunday, May 21, NCC/Alcatel Sunday Bikedays are starting up. OISC will be on Colonel By every Sunday, starting June 4 to aid the public with safety tips and free clinics.

Get ready for the Ottawa race weekend

What do you want for yourself for the Ottawa race weekend? Ah! The famous question I ask all my students. Not having a clear and well-phrased affirmation of your goals (three maximum) makes you more susceptible to failure and disappointment.

A Harvard study showed that writing down your goals increases the chances of accomplishing them by 95%! So ask yourself: "What do I want for marathon day?"

OISC is helping the Ottawa marathon and the skating community by recruiting volunteers for the inline registration at the Expo and to provide support on the race course. To volunteer contact Andrea Mailhot today.

Also this year skaters will have 70 minutes (not 60) to complete the first lap (21 k) of the marathon.
